Blue Star is actively assessing and monitoring details as they are released from statutory bodies of the government to align ourselves with the interim legislation amid covid19 and the national lockdown.
There are ongoing communication with our clients in the essential services.
The categories of clints as published by government who will be exempted from the nation-wide lockdown are the following:
- health workers in the public and private sectors;
- emergency personnel, those in security services – such as the police, traffic officers, military medical personnel, soldiers; and
- other persons necessary for our response to the pandemic.
And Blue star will align with this information and as additional rules become clear of the lockdown.
For now, the immediate safety of our personal are the highest priority as they are from the most vulnerable portion of society.
We ask from our client to support us as a SMME to enable us to take care of our people during this period.
Blue star will encourage the staff to remain in isolation for 21 days during the lockdown and therefor will not be sending staff to their places of work from Thursday afternoon in compliance with the legislation for the National Disaster declaration and subsequent lockdown.
Unless a special arrangement is in place for exempted categories of clients, Blue Star will not be servicing non essential places of work.
